Best Of: Anastasia Beverly Hills
Now that Anastasia Beverly Hills is sold in Sephora, I wanted to share my favorites from the brand. What started as just a brow line, ABH now has tons of eyeshadows, contour products, highlighters, and lip products. Best part is that I've really liked everything that I've tried. If you're interested in checking out the line, here are my top picks.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss
I have two Anastasia Beverly Hills lip glosses, and I LOVE them. They are incredibly pigmented, shiny (but not sticky) and they actually last a long time on the lips. Plus they smell like cake batter! Here are swatches of Sepia (cool-toned brown) and Warm Bronze (shimmery raspberry): The lip glosses are available at Sephora for $16.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminators
Well, you guys know I live for a good highlighter, and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminators are awesome. I mentioned So Hollywood in my February Favorites video as well as in my Valentine's Day Makeup Edit post and How To Get A Subtle Glow post, so you already know I'm pretty much obsessed. Here are swatches of the two illuminators that I have - Riveria (cool-toned icy pink) and So Hollywood (light yellow gold): I love that these are really frosty, but you can actually apply them lightly for a subtle highlight. While the swatches show up pretty different on my hands, I have to admit that the look on the face is pretty similar. If I had to choose one over the other, I'd go for So Hollywood, but both are really pretty. These highlighters are available at Anastasia Beverly Hills (in a total of 4 shades) for $28.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Self Made Palette
The Self Made Palette is so pretty! It has just the right mix of neutrals, brights, shimmers and mattes that makes it work for everyday makeup looks or night out looks. And the shadows are like butter - super smooth and easy to blend. My favorite shades are Pink Champagne (a cool-toned pink with silver shimmer), Hot & Cold (a shimmery warm brown) and Hot Chocolate (a warm pink-brown). Unfortunately, this palette is no longer available, but the eyeshadows are sold separately at Sephora and Anastasia Beverly Hills, so you can customize your own palette. Individually, the eyeshadows are $12, but you can get a palette of 4 for $40 or 8 for $70.Here are swatches of the eyeshadows so that you can get a better idea of the range of colors available:And of course, you guys know I LOVE the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (mentioned in this post on my Brow Essentials, my most recent Empties post and this Day to Night Makeup Tutorial), so consider yourselves informed.Have you tried anything from Anastasia Beverly Hills?
