Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario
I told myself I wasn't going to buy the Master Palette by Mario eyeshadow palette. "You already have too much makeup," I told myself. "You hardly wear eyeshadow anyways," I said. But then I saw swatches. And a tutorial (or three). And the next thing I knew, I was on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website clicking "Add To Cart."What can I say? The flesh is weak. But, damn this eyeshadow palette is pretty! The colors are totally fall appropriate, but they are neutrals in a mix of mattes and shimmers, so they'll work year-round. Plus the pigmentation is great and they're silky smooth. No regrets here. Not a one.As soon as I opened the Master Palette by Mario, I knew I had to film a first impressions video. This is a limited edition product that's only available at Anastasia Beverly Hills' website now, but I wanted to give you all my thoughts right away. It will be available at Sephora soon, so hopefully this video will convince you that you need it!{Side note: Anastasia Beverly Hills is killing it. I love their foundation stick and lip glosses too!}Subscribe To My YouTube ChannelFor this makeup look, I kept things pretty simple. As you can see in the photos, I'm pretty casual. I blame it on the Bay, but I'm pretty much always wearing jeans and a sweater or sweatshirt (*kanye shrug*).I wore my favorite tinted moisturizer / bb cream combination - NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Annapurna mixed with Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 004. On my cheeks, I wore the same combination that I used in my Brown Lipstick Tutorial - MAC Cosmetics Blush in Sweet As Cocoa topped with Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Seduction.I have the video showing up top, but in case you're having trouble, here's a link to the video.I also have some swatches of the Master Palette by Mario:And here's another shot. Here's a closer look:As I mentioned in the video, these shadows are a tad powdery. I was a little nervous that they'd be messy on the lids, but they applied smoothly and adhered well. I tried these without a primer, and they lasted well for about 6 hours with no creasing.
