What I Adore Vol. 1 | skincare, makeup, books, etc.
I'm starting a new YouTube series - What I Adore - where I'll share what I'm loving in terms of skincare, makeup, books, and anything else. I thought it would be a good place to share things that I'm enjoying and things that are inspiring me, and also a way to hear from you guys! Sometimes monthly favorites can feel forced, so this is something I'll be doing every couple of months (or whenever I've gotten a group of cool things to share). Hope you enjoy this series and please share what you adore in the comments.https://youtu.be/4LQQc2UQ0Kg

And, here we go...1. From Molly With Love Rosewater Cleanser. This is the only foaming cleanser that I've tried that's actually moisturizing. It has so many nourishing ingredients, like coconut water and rose essential oil, and it just feels wonderful. I'm actually going to be carrying this and a few other products by From Molly With Love in my store CVTD Beauty in just a few days, so sign up to stay updated:

2. Kristen Ess Reconstructive Hair Mask. I've heard so many good things about Kristen Ess' line, so I decided to check out this hair mask on a whim. It's amazing. I don't really write about hair that much because I'm honestly rarely impressed with hair products. What can I say, I'm picky! But this mask is easy to put on (a big deal when your hair is as thick as mine) and really makes my hair feel super soft. It's available at Target for about $15.3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation. I reviewed this a while back in this post and I still LOVE it. It matches my skin perfectly right now, and it's something that I can slap on my face and not worry about all day. It's made specifically for combination skin, so it's not super heavy and slick like some stick foundations can be. I really can't say enough good things about this and feel like this is such an underrated product!4. Nudestix Concealer. I discovered this concealer from one of my favorite YouTubers (Mariah Leonard) and it's so good. The shade Deep 7 is a great match for my skin color, and I often wear this alone under my eyes. It's something that I can swipe on and just blend in with my fingers. It looks natural and lasts through a full day. The only downside is that they only have 8 shades, so finding a match may be difficult. But, if you can find your match, I suggest giving it a try.[one_half padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_half][one_half_last padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_half_last]5. Pinch of Colour Matte Velvet Waterless Lip Colour in Eva. I swear I'm not into bright lipsticks but this color is gorgeous. The formula stays put and literally feels like nothing on the lips. BONUS: It's available at CVTD Beauty in a ton of other colors too.6. The Now Habit by Neil Fiore. A coworker loaned me this book and, despite being a tad dated, it really has some gems. It talks about getting to the bottom of why we procrastinate in order to create better (non-procrastinating) habits. I definitely feel like it's important to take all self-help books with a grain of salt, but there are some useful insights and tips in this book.7. This article on How to Meal Prep a Week's Worth of Amazing Lunches in 2 Hours. I'm so not into meal-prepping because I'm moody when it comes to food. I can't predict on a Sunday what I'll feel like eating on Thursday. But I found this article back in January and have been following it almost every single week since. I don't always prepare every element, but I love that I can mix and match different ingredients so I don't feel like I'm eating the same thing every day. I also love that everything can be eaten warm or at room temp (which is huge because I hate microwaving food at work).8. The Artemis audio book. Artemis is by Andy Weir, who also wrote The Martian (Matt Damon starred in the movie). Rosario Dawson narrates the audio book and she's awesome. I'm not a big fan of her acting, but the girl can read lol. Seriously, this book was so entertaining.I have the video showing up top, but in case you're having trouble, here's a link to the video.Let me know what you've been loving in the comments!
