Top 5: Eyeshadow Sticks
Eyeshadow sticks are some of my favorite makeup products. They are so versatile and super easy. Here's a roundup of my Top 5 Eyeshadow Sticks.
1. Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop Eye Stick in Leila. This is a beautiful copper/red color that's much more wearable than you'd expect. I also like that this formula is slightly cooling, so it's a real pleasure to apply. This is probably my favorite of the bunch since it's such a unique color. 2. NARS Velvet Shadow Stick in Aigle Noir. This is a beautiful dark green eyeshadow stick with gold shimmer throughout. I picture myself using this for an effortless and dramatic smokey eye look. This product is very long-lasting and does not crease once it sets.
3. Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow in Laurier Rose. I've mentioned this before (see a review here) for good reason. This pink/peach shimmery eyeshadow stick is just beautiful. It brightens my eyes without looking overdone. See it in action in my Glowy Makeup Tutorial here.
4. Jouer Creme Eyeshadow Crayon in Renaissance. This eyeshadow crayon is another great matte option. It's a beautiful shimmery purple color that's perfect for fall weather. I love that this is an easy way to add a little drama to your makeup look. I simply smudge this along my upper lash line and throw on some mascara. Very simple but it's a nice change from the everyday makeup look.
5. Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Sugar Frost. This is a very bright champagne gold color that would work great in casual daytime looks, or with heavy eyeliner for nighttime looks because you can apply it sheer or layer it for more drama. I love the Laura Mercier formula because it sets quickly and lasts all day. During the holiday season, there are usually a couple of gift sets featuring several small sizes of this eyeshadow stick. It's a great way to try several shades of this formula, and currently available here.
