Sunday Riley The Influencer Clean Long Wear Foundation Review
In my last YouTube video, I mentioned that I was wearing the Sunday Riley The Influencer Clean Long Wear Foundation and promised that I'd have a review coming soon. Since I'm a woman of my word, here it is!https://youtu.be/M2SCb62zdAk

Here's a bit more background on the Sunday Riley The Influencer Clean Long Wear Foundation: it's the first foundation offering from the high end skincare line. It's supposed to be lightweight, medium-full coverage, satin-matte finish and long-wearing.Also, here's a list of ingredients:
Water, Phenyl Trimethicone, Cetyl Diglyceryl Tris(Trimethylsiloxy)silylethyl Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica, Propanediol, Isododecane, C24-28 Alkyldimethylsiloxy Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Echium Plantagineum Seed Oil, Cardiospermum Halicacabum Flower/Leaf/Vine Extract, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol Crosspolymer, Lauryl Dimethicone, Octyldodecanol, Tocopherol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Sodium Metabisulfite, Sodium Phytate, Bisabolol, Pentylene Glycol, Pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate (antioxidant to prevent color change), Phenethyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Nerol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Mica, Iron Oxides, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Propylene Carbonate, Hydroxystearic Acid, Disteardimonium Hectorite, [May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Ispopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, 1,2-Hexanediol].
The reviews on Sephora are quite mixed and I suspect it's because "dimethicone" type ingredients are listed close to the top of the ingredients list. Many people are sensitive to this ingredient (which helps smooth texture on the skin). Fortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case for me and I'm happy to report that I didn't have any irritation when using this foundation. As mentioned in the video, I applied this following my normal skincare routine (Aenon’s Rituall Refining Facial Toner, Aenon’s Rituall Hydrate Antioxidant Serum, Dior Capture Youth Redness Soother, Farmacy Green Screen Daily Environmental Protector Broad Spectrum MineralSunscreen SPF 30, and Aenon’s Rituall Renew CoQ10 Beauty Oil) and was really happy with how it lasted throughout the day.I suspect that the fact that I applied an oil before the foundation may have given a more "satin" finish rather than matte, but I'm not mad! I prefer a glowy finish anyways. As far as feeling lightweight, I also have to agree with the brand's claim. I think the Sunday Riley The Influencer foundation gives a very natural, skin-like finish. The one aspect where my experience didn't line up with the brand's claim is the level of coverage this foundation provides. It's supposed to be a medium to full coverage, but I think this is a solid medium coverage. However, the packaging recommended 1-2 pumps and I used less than 1 full pump, so perhaps if I'd used the full 2 pumps I would have gotten higher coverage. That being said, I have doubts that this foundation would have remained as lightweight if I'd used that much foundation. It doesn't seem like the foundation that can be layered without appearing greasy.Overall, I'm very happy with this foundation, and given that the color matches so well, I definitely see this becoming an everyday staple. It was very easy to apply and lasted well through a typical workday.
