Jouer Le Matchbox | New Beauty Subscription Box

About a month ago, I heard about Le Matchbox, the new makeup subscription / beauty box service from Jouer Cosmetics.  I thought this was the perfect time to test out a brand that I'd heard so many good things about.  Also, the beauty box seemed like a great deal because for $45, this Le Matchbox includes the Daily Repair Treatment Oil plus several other products, and the oil itself is $48 so everything else was essentially free!jouer le matchbox 1. Gardenia Perfume Oil (0.04oz).  This teeny, tiny perfume oil is really cute.  The scent is a lovely gardenia, and the small size makes it perfect for travel.2. Hydrating Lipstick in Meredith.  This is a really pretty pinky-nude shade that is lovely.  When I swatched it, I was a bit underwhelmed, but once I put it on, I was impressed.  The formula is creamy and moisturizing and it is very pigmented.3. Daily Repair Treatment Oil. Described as a "bioretinol rejuvenating complex" that provides all of the positive effects of retinol (anti-aging, firms and evens skin tone) without the dryness and irritation, this oil is really luxurious.  It is moisturizing enough to wear alone and leaves my skin feeling plump and smooth.4. Small blush brush.  This little brush is meant to go with the blush, but I honestly haven't tried it.  I'll probably stash it in my makeup bag in case I want to have something for touch-ups, but to be honest, this was unnecessary for me.5. Blush in Peach Bouquet.  In the pan, this looked almost too powdery, and when swatched, it took a few passes to get full opacity.  However, on the cheeks, this is surprisingly pretty and luminous.  It has a similar effect to NARS Orgasm blush, but less pink and less sparkly.  This is a very pretty peach shade with subtle sheen that looks really beautiful.6. Creme Eyeshadow Crayon in Renaissance.  I'd heard good things about this eyeshadow crayon, so I was excited to receive it in this beauty box.  Renaissance is a deep purple with just a hint of shimmer.  It can be worn sheered out or very opaque.  The texture is smooth and long-wearing also.7. Eyelash curler.  This was another miss for me.  I don't use an eyelash curler, but this one is so cheap that I would be hesitant to put it near my eyes.8. Faux leather makeup bag.  I really like this bag.  It looks and feels high quality and is very roomy.  The soft gold color is really pretty too.Bottom line:  The Le Matchbox beauty box was a great introduction to Jouer Cosmetics and  I'm looking forward to receiving the summer box.  If you're interested in trying out Jouer Cosmetics, they're currently having 25% off sitewide using the code FFLOVE (valid through 5/24).jouer le matchboxHere are swatches of Meredith and similar pinks and nudes:jouer le matchboxI have lots of pinky-nude shades, but none were great dupes for Meredith.  I think the closest was Peonine by Kevyn Aucoin, which is a very similar color in gloss form.Jouer le matchboxHere's a swatch of Renaissance:jouer le matchboxAnd here's a swatch of Peach Bouquet:jouer le matchboxI'm new to Jouer, but so far am loving this brand.  Anyone else a fan of Jouer?
