If You Only Buy One Product This Season...
Get this Chanel eyeshadow stylo! The more that I learn about makeup, the more I realize that many products are quite similar, but every once in a while, a truly unique product surfaces. I love eyeshadow pens because they are easy to apply and super portable. And these Chanel babies are some of the best that I've tried. Not only are they insanely creamy and pigmented, but they also last all day and the applicator makes precise, clean application really easy.I bought the shades 107 Campanile, 147 Caroube and 127 Laurier Rose (there are two other shades - 117 Azulejo and 137 Olivine). 107 Campanile is a gorgeous, vibrant grape purple. It's bright but not neon at all so I think this would be cute for a pop of color on the eyes. 147 Caroube is a very versatile bronze brown color. This comes out very neutral on me and is good for days when I want to wear eyeshadow but don't want to think too much about it. My favorite of the three is 127 Laurier Rose. I love pink makeup shades (see past posts featuring pink makeup here), so that's probably no surprise. This shade is the most wearable pink/peach with a hint of gold that would look good on so many skin tones. Very similar to Tom Ford's Pink Haze, which is one of my all-time favorite eyeshadows. I love how easy these are to apply and the cooling feeling is similar to that of the Marc Jacobs eyeshadow pens (mentioned here).Check out some swatches below: These beauties are limited edition and can be purchased at Nordstrom for $34 here.
