lipscrubsAs we transition into the cooler weather, it's time to start focusing on deep conditioning and moisturizing from head to toe.  With matte lips being super popular right now, it's especially important to make sure the lips are smooth because matte lipsticks will emphasize every imperfection.  Here are two great lip scrubs at two different price points that do a great job at exfoliating the lips.whippedgoodsWhipped Goods Sugar ScrubI discovered Whipped Goods on Instagram and love that the products are organic and handmade in the US.  It has a gritty texture that does a great job of exfoliating the lips, but is a bit messy.  The scrub is quite dry, so little sugar flakes will get all over your face.  That being said, it is very effective and budget friendly.  It costs $8 and is available here.*Update: Apparently this is not the lip scrub, but their all over scrub...oops.  So that explains the gritty texture, but considering it did a darn good job and can be used all over your body, this product is still pretty appealing.sarahappthe lip scrub by Sara HappSara Happ is a high end line that I'd heard about before but never purchased due to the price tag.  Luckily, my awesome mom bought this for me, so I got to try it out for free!  The texture of this scrub is more moist than the Whipped Goods version, so it's much less messy.  Since more oil is in the product, a light moisturizing residue is left on the lips after using, which is something that I really liked.  It costs $24 and is available here.sarahappingredientsSara Happ (L) and Whipped Goods (R)Bottom line - Both products will exfoliate your lips, but the Sara Happ lip scrub leaves the lips more moisturized.  Worth the extra money?  Your call.
