It's time to finish some of my most versatile (but somehow neglected) makeup items!  We all have those consistently good makeup products that somehow get moved to the side when something shiny and new comes onto the scene.  In an effort to streamline my makeup routine, I've chosen five super versatile makeup products that I'm going to finish this summer.

A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across the Instagram account of Raincouver Beauty and a hashtag that she and a few other Canadian beauty bloggers were using: #cbbfinish5.  I may not be Canadian, but I'm joining the fun!  Here are my picks for Five to Finish:

1. YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres in 31.  This is a beautiful, slightly sheer pinky-coral shade.  The Rouge Pur Couture formula is really unique - it's thin and super long-lasting and not drying at all.  The finish is between matte and glossy, so it's just a perfect everyday no-fuss lip color.  I'm not sure how this got neglected, but I'm now carrying this in my purse every day and plan to finish this so that I can buy another color (lol).

2. YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush in 10.  I did a post about this awesome product last year (here) and raved about how unique and versatile it is.  However, being a devoted beauty blogger, I quickly move along to the next product launch and somehow didn't return to this star.  This color is the perfect everyday blush and lip color because it's the perfect shade of pinky-brown that looks so natural.  I've been using this to add a quick flush to my cheeks and lips.  The lipstick is matte but very comfortable and very long-lasting.  I really love this one and swear I won't ever forget about it again!

3. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper.  Kat Von D's liner is one of the best liquid liners that I've ever tried.  The pen is the right balance between being firm but still comfortable to use on the eye.  The formula is super dark black and glides on smoothly.  I used to wear liquid liner more regularly, but for some reason haven't lately.  Now that I've vowed to finish this product, I'll be incorporating liquid liner into more of my looks.  I may even feature it in a YouTube tutorial!4. Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow in 127 Laurier Rose.  This is another product that I raved about when it was released (check the product review here).  Yet, once again, I got distracted.  As I mentioned in the review, this is a beautiful and versatile eyeshadow stick.  It would be great for work, or as part of a glowy summer evening look.  Check out my tutorial on Glowy Summer Makeup for inspiration!

5. Bobbi Brown SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free in Dark Tint.  This is one of my most used base products because the color matches my skin perfectly and it provides a natural and light finish.  That being said, I still don't reach for it that often because I'm always trying something new.  I've had my eye on a couple of new foundations, but I've promised myself that I won't buy anything new until I finish this one.  If you're in the market for an everyday tinted moisturizer and have dry to normal skin, definitely check this out.  Because of the slightly glowy finish, I wouldn't recommend this to oily skin types in the summer, but it might be great during the cooler months.
