I actually wasn't going to get anything. I really wasn't. But then I saw everything in store and all the glitter got the best of me. You can see how I work with a few of the items in the tutorial, and here are swatches:
swatches of Fenty Beauty Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette
The eyeshadow palette has a few different finishes, including metallic shadows (like Milky Way) and high glitter shadows (like Cosmic Ocean). I think the metallic shadows are awesome, and the medium glitter shades (like Planet Ex, which I used in the tutorial) are really great too and not messy at all. The high glitter shades are less pigmented and a bit more messy. Whether or not this palette works for you will depend on how much you like glitter and whether or not you're willing to put in the extra effort to use a glitter glue or other eyeshadow base to get the best wear.
swatches of Fenty Beauty Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter
I think the glosses are amazing. They're super pigmented and extremely unique. Plus they're not too sticky and feel nice on the lips. Definitely recommend.
swatches of Fenty Beauty Starlit Hyper Glitz Lipstick
I really like these two lipsticks. The lighter shade (Super Moon) is a really pretty peachy/pink and it's definitely something that's an everyday type of shade. I'm actually contemplating getting a backup because I'm that ridiculous. These lipsticks are medium opacity with one swipe but can be built up for fuller coverage. They feel balmy on the lips and are not drying.
swatches of Fenty Beauty Eclipse 2-in-1 Glitter Release Liner
The Glitter Release liner is definitely the most unique. On the right, you see the shade right out of the tube. On the left, you see the liner smudged after it dried. You basically get two looks - either basic liner or glitter liner. Plus this taupe/gold color is really unique too.my thoughts on the Fenty Beauty Galaxy Collection...I think that the colors and formulas (especially the glosses and lip liners) are very unique. But, given the heavy glitter content, most of these are special occasion type of items. Also, although glitter eyeshadow is typically pretty messy, I didn't have an issue with the eyeshadow palette. But, there are actually a few different eyeshadow textures in the palette, so I haven't gotten a chance to play with the most glittery shades.Overall, I'm very happy with what I bought, but I'm not gonna lie and say that anything will be an everyday makeup staple, except for the lipsticks.I have the video showing up top, but in case you're having trouble, here's a link to the video.P R O D U C T S M E N T I O N E D:Benefit Stay Don’t Stray Primer in Medium/Deep // Fenty Beauty Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette // Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 370 (swatches of a few other Fenty Beauty foundation shades in this post) // Fenty Beauty Match Stix Shimmer in Sinamon // Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Truffle and Latte // Sephora Pro Mini Flawless Airbrush in 56.5 // Maybelline Mega Plush Volum Express Mascara // RCMA No Color Powder // MAC Fix+ // Glossier Boy Brow in Clear (I’m a Glossier Rep so you can shop with me using this link to get 20% off your first purchase) // Fenty Beauty Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick in Super Moon and Sci-Fly // Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter in Gal On The Moon, Astro-Naughty and Spacesuit // Fenty Beauty By Rihanna Eclipse 2-In-1 Glitter Release Eyeliner in Later, CraterLet me know what you think about the Fenty Beauty Galaxy Collection!
