Bright Skin & Mauve Makeup | September Favorites 2016
As we head into cooler weather, that summer glow starts to fade (sadly). For my September favorites, I have something that will definitely help keep that glowy and bright skin well into fall and winter.

Also, I LOVED my makeup from this video! I never thought I'd be wearing mauves and lavenders instead of the typical rust and terra-cotta shades, but that's all I want to wear lately.In case you're wondering, this is what I'm wearing in my September Favorites video:Foundation: Make Up For Ever Water Blend Foundation in Y445. I mentioned this foundation in my last post on new fall foundations, and when I first tried it, I was thrown off by how thin the foundation is. But after using it a few times, I'm liking it more and more. For me, the best way to apply this is with my fingers at first and then I'll use a damp beauty blender to smooth everything. I love how smooth this looks, but it feels so light.Cheeks: I'm wearing the H&M blush that I mention in the video in the shade Cameo Brown and then I used one of my favorite highlighters - ColourPop Cosmetics' Super Shock Cheek Highlighter in Butterfly Beach. I have another post with more of my favorite subtle highlighters too.Eyes: I'm wearing ColourPop Cosmetics' eyeshadow in Bill and then I applied MAC Cosmetics' Soft Serve Shadow* in Bounce Around. My mascara is the Maybelline Colossal Spider Effect Mascara that I mention in the video.Lips: For lips, I'm wearing the two lip products that I talk about in the video - Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Trap and Ultra Glossy Lip in Finders Keepers.And, even though I mentioned this in the video, I really have to say that I think that the Avon Anew Vitamin C Brightening Serum* is really the thing to get if you want bright skin. I've been wearing it day and night and have definitely noticed that my skin has been extra glowy.But, if you don't have time to wait the couple weeks for the serum to really work, I have a list of the best luminizers for instant glow.
