Best Cleansing Oils | In Rotation

I'm so happy to be writing this post right now.  I got myself all settled last night to put the final touches on this review of some cleansing oils that I've tested out and my damn internet was out.  The TV too.  It was like 7:30pm and I was totally stuck, like, what did people do before the internet?? LOL.  I actually ended up totally re-arranging my bedroom, which is something that I've been wanting to do for months now, so I guess it all worked out.

But back to these cleansing oils.

I've talked about the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil before (I've been using it for about a year now and featured it in this post on my skincare routine), but being truly obsessed with skincare, after I finished my last bottle, I decided to test out some other brands.  Cleansing oils are great for removing your makeup, so they're perfect to use at night.  I've had less breakouts once I started using cleansing oils because they really help get my skin clean.  But, they're gentle and not super drying.[row padding_top="" padding_bottom="" bg="" bg_light="true" appear="false"] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Review of three cleansing oils - DHC, NARS and MAC on the blog now. adiaadores.com[/column] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Review of three cleansing oils - DHC, NARS and MAC on the blog now. adiaadores.com[/column] [/row]I love slathering an oil on my face and massaging the makeup off after a long day.  I recommend following a cleansing oil with either a normal cleanser or a toner to make sure your skin is really clean.  I'll be honest though - I use a cleanser and a toner because I'm a bit obsessive.  You can check out my full nighttime skincare routine if you don't believe me!First up, I have the MAC Cleanse Off Oil.  This is actually something that I bought to bring with me when I travel, and I really like this.  If you're uncertain about cleansing oils, MAC makes a great one to try first.  It's not too thick, but it still gets the job done.  The packaging is great too because the pump dispenses the right amount of product, and it locks securely for travel.  I like to apply this my dry face, and then use wet hands to massage it into my skin.  This oil emulsifies nicely and will remove all but the heaviest, most waterproof makeup.Review of three cleansing oils - DHC, NARS and MAC on the blog now. adiaadores.comNext up, I have this cute little sample of the NARS Makeup Cleansing Oil.  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be too widely available (it's only on Amazon).  But, I actually liked this the least of all three, so it's all good. This is probably the thinnest cleansing oil that I've tried before, and I just missed that rich feeling of thicker cleansing oils.  It removes normal makeup, but I found that it wasn't so great at removing stubborn eye makeup, especially mascara.Review of three cleansing oils - DHC, NARS and MAC on the blog now. adiaadores.comLastly, I have the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil.*  You've probably guessed this is my favorite of the three cleansing oils.  It's rich and feels luxurious (but it's very affordable -$28 for 6.7oz and this bottle will last for months).  Most importantly, it just works.  This will remove every trace of makeup but doesn't make the skin feel dry at all.If you've ever had trouble getting rid of all your makeup at night, definitely try using one of these cleansing oils before your regular cleanser (aka double cleansing).  I think this is a great way to make sure your skin is really clean and it definitely helps keep breakouts at bay.So, are you into cleansing oils or not?  Have a favorite?  Let me know in the comments below! The DHC Cleansing Oil was provided for free for review consideration, but, as always, all opinions are my own.
