My Picks From The Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit

I'm wrapping up my trip to Barbados and am really sad to leave behind the island life.  I got here last week and had all sorts of big plans for preparing posts in advance that would go up while I was away, but I just couldn't get myself together in time. So since I'm on an island vacation, I thought it was fitting that I'd share my thoughts of the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit. This came out a couple of months ago and has lots of deluxe sample sizes of sunscreen products. I'm always looking for the best sunscreen, so I was super excited to try out what came with this kit.sephora favorites sun safety kit

You may recognize some of the products in the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit from previous posts because there are definitely some goodies in this kit.  I'll go into detail about what I've tried so far, but there are still some products that I haven't had the chance to test out yet.sephora favorites sun safety kit

my picks from the sephora favorites sun safety kit

The Tarte Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is one of my favorite everyday sunscreens hands down.  I first talked about it in this post last year and even though I like trying new products, this is one of the best.  It blends all the way into my skin and doesn't make my skin feel or look all greasy.I also LOVE the Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50.  I applied this religiously while I was "playing mas" at Crop Over (more on this later), and I 100% think this is what kept me from getting sunburned.  It doesn't sting my eyes and the rosemary scent is really refreshing.  I like using this throughout the day when I'm out in the sun.  Plus the small size makes it perfect to carry along in my bag or even in my pocket.  Can't recommend this enough. The Kate Somerville Daily Deflector Moisturizer, Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ PA+++ is an amazing everyday moisturizer/SPF product.  Even though it has a very high SPF, it blends into the skin right away.  It leaves a bit of shine, but I still really like this and am considering buying the full size once I use up my current daytime moisturizer / SPF (mentioned in this post). If you're a long-time reader of this blog, then you probably remember that I used to go so hard for the Clarins UV Plus Anti‐Pollution SPF 50 Sunscreen (it's mentioned in this post and this one too).  I hadn't used it in a while but when I opened this little sample, I was reminded how good it is.  If you're looking for a high SPF for the face, this is a great option.I also like the Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF30 | PA+++.  This is your typical silicone-type primer, so it definitely smooths your skin.  But, I don't like to wear silicone primers frequently because sometimes they irritate my skin, so I probably won't purchase the full size.  That being said, I like to add this along my nose an cheeks on days when I'll be out in the sun and I want to make sure my makeup lasts all day.  You know, for day parties LOL.sephora favorites sun safety kitHave you tried anything from the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit?  I can't find this online, but it's still available in stores and I linked full size items of everything as well.[xyz-ihs snippet="sephora-favorites-sun-safety-kit"]
