Sephora Clarifying Booster | New Skincare Love
Happy Wednesday! I've been testing out this Sephora Clarifying Booster for about a month now and I'm so happy to share my thoughts with you guys. I'm also happy because I'll be leaving for Barbados in just a little over a week for Crop Over (more details to come)! But to be honest, I always feel a little excited on Wednesdays because 1) it marks the halfway point to the weekend and 2) my job has catered lunch for our weekly staff meeting. Free food FTW. It's the little things.I first mentioned this Sephora Clarifying Booster in a guest post on MBB earlier this month, but at that point I hadn't had much time to really test it out. But after using these little drops morning and night for a couple of weeks, I can definitely say these work. The Sephora Clarifying Booster is very liquid; it basically feels like water. I just add a couple of drops to my moisturizer (I'm currently using the Glossier Priming Moisturizer that I talk about in this post) and go about the rest of my skincare routine. The key ingredient is Zinc, which is meant to decrease oil production, so it helps keep my skin matte throughout the day. I also read an article about how this product is great for clearing blackheads too. There are also ingredients that help prevent infections, which will also help keep your skin clear. I think this product is awesome if you have congested and/or oily skin. It's a nice little boost to add to what you already have. I like that you can add it to any moisturizer or serum, or even apply it directly to your skin, so it's really easy to customize to what works best for you. And if you only have occasional oiliness or breakouts, then you can skip it when you don't need it.Here's the full ingredient list:Aqua (water), butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, glycerin, zinc PCA, phenoxyethanol, alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, xanthin gum, perfume (fragrance), pig-26-buteth-26, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, pistachio lentiscus (mastic) gum, lecithin, copper gluconate, tocopherol. For some reason, I can't find the Sephora Clarifying Booster online, but here are links to other products in Sephora's "Skincare Booster" collection: Luminizer and Tired Skin. I actually bought mine at my local Sephora, so they are still available in stores.Bottom line, I think this has really helped keep my skin clear and I'll definitely keep this in my skincare routine. Have you tried this Sephora Clarifying Booster? Let me know in the comments!
