Pinch of Colour Honey Silk Waterless Tint | Indie Beauty Review
As I mentioned in my Most CVTD: November Edit, I really love the Honey Silk Waterless Tint by Pinch of Colour. It's called a "tint" but I feel like it gives more coverage than, say, the Glossier Skin Tint. It provides medium coverage, but you can sheer it out to get a pretty light finish if you want. I love that it's super creamy and practically blends itself. Plus, there's a built in brush at one end, making it perfect for makeup on the go or travel. The Pinch of Colour Honey Silk Waterless Tint is available in 6 shades, and Brandy is a great match for me.And here are swatches of the three darker shades on my face so that you can get a better idea of how the colors look.I've tried several foundation sticks over the last year or so, and this Honey Silk Waterless Tint probably has the lightest coverage. The texture is creamy like the NARS Velvet Matte Foundation Stick (reviewed here), but I think it's a little less pigmented (which is probably why it's called a tint rather than a foundation stick). The Anastasia Beverly Hills and Hourglass foundation sticks are less creamy and more full coverage in case you were wondering how they compared.Overall, I think the Honey Silk Waterless Tint is an easy everyday base. It gives just the right amount of coverage, and it wears really nicely throughout the day. Now that the weather is colder and more dry, I appreciate that this feels nourishing on my skin. I haven't found it to cling to dry patches or get overly shiny either.Full disclosure: I carry Pinch of Colour on my site - CVTD Beauty - so this is a little plug lol. But honestly, besides really loving their products, I'm proud to work with such an amazing brand! It's founded by a beauty industry vet who has been super helpful and supportive of me with my new venture (#womensupportwomen). Also, a portion of their net proceeds goes to clean water initiates around the world. The founder, Linda, is devoted to water conservation efforts which is why none of the products contain water. All of the brands that I carry are special because they not only make amazing products (duh) but they are either founded by women, based in the US, eco-friendly, all-natural, or vegan (or all of the above in some cases). You can purchase the Honey Silk Waterless Tint for $42, but if you sign up below to the email list, you get a code for 10% off plus free shipping on orders over $30. As always, thanks for your support![xyz-ihs snippet="cvtd"]
