Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette | #PerfectPalettes

As promised, here's another post in my #PerfectPalettes series, and this time I'm reviewing the Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette.  Persona Cosmetics is a line created by a beauty YouTuber and blogger - Sona Gasparian.  I love her videos because she's actually really knowledgeable about makeup (she was a pro makeup artist) and her makeup looks are wearable for everyday.  I also love that she started her own line because that's my dream, and it's inspiring to see what she's accomplished in the beauty industry.[one_half padding="10px 10px 10px 10px"][/one_half][one_half_last padding="10px 10px 10px 10px"][/one_half_last]The Identity Palette was created specifically for brown eyes (hence the plum and mauve tones), but honestly I think it would look good regardless of your eye color. There are twelve shades, with a nice mix of matte and shimmery shades.  The mattes are pigmented and creamy and the metallics are really good.  They almost feel like cream shadows because they're just so smooth.Above you see swatches of the Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette (L to R):

  • Humble - matte bone
  • Sassy - ivory shimmer
  • Goal Digger - shimmery yellow gold (also a pretty highlight shade)
  • Seductive - icy pink / mauve shimmer
  • Charming - matte medium brown (a nice light transition / blending shade on my skintone)
  • Maverick - matte cool-toned gray / brown (good for subtle smokey eyes)
  • Bombshell - pewter shimmer
  • Goddess - copper shimmer
  • Audacious - matte orange red (great for a burnt orange makeup look)
  • Chic - matte berry
  • Bossy - chocolate brown shimmer
  • Fearless - matte dark brown

There aren't any super bold colors, which might make you think this is a basic palette.  But it's basic in a good way.  It's an everyday palette that has just enough shimmers and interesting colors to keep it from being boring.  It's actually a palette that's totally self-contained.Now that eyeshadow palettes are so popular, I feel like there are so many palettes that have beautiful colors but can't really stand on their own. Or they can only create one type of look (I'm looking at you Urban Decay Naked Heat).  This is actually a pretty versatile palette and the quality is on point.  I think the Identity Palette works for every day (whether you like to use a few shades or just swipe one shadow on your lids and go) and also for dramatic nighttime looks.Of course, I have a couple more pics of me wearing the Identity Palette:I'm wearing Gold Digger and Bombshell on the lid and Chic and Audacious in the crease.  Then I swept Chic along the lower lash line to finish off the eyes. For my base, I mixed Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Foundation in 370 and 360 (check out this post for my review and swatches).  And then on my lips, I'm wearing Noyah Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Deeply in Mauve (I love this lipgloss because it's pigmented and super moisturizing - more shades at my store CVTD Beauty).  On my cheeks, I have MAC Blushbaby blush. So, has anyone else tried the Identity Palette?  Also, what's your go-to everyday / self-contained eyeshadow palette?
