Pacific Heights, San Francisco: #BayLove
This past Saturday I spent the day in sunny Pacific Heights, San Francisco with one of my best friends. It was one of those postcard perfect days and we got our makeup done at the NARS boutique on Fillmore Street before heading to the amazing bakery B Patisserie. Basically, it was perfection.

NARS Boutique on Fillmore Street
The NARS Boutique was having an event featuring one of their top international makeup artists, Uzo, so they were doing makeovers. My makeup artist, Whitney, was so good! I felt like she totally got my makeup style, plus she showed me some really good makeup tips that I'll be sharing in an upcoming post.
I couldn't resist picking up a few things, especially since I loved the experience so much! I thought that everyone was super nice, and I loved that the store wasn't too crowded. Our appointments weren't rushed either, so I really got the chance to chat with the artists and browse through all of the pretty colors.
They were having a gift with purchase promotion, so I got deluxe samples of the Purifying Foam Cleanser and the Luminous Moisture Cream, plus minis of the Orgasm Illuminator (which is another great subtle highlighter) and the eye pencil. 
I purchased the Multiple in Puerto Vallarta, lipgloss in Tiber and Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in Red Dragon and Bahama. I also bought a Velvet Shadow Stick in Nunavut.
I learned a new way to color correct and LOVED it. I'll definitely be discussing this in a future post!

They say that a weekend well spent brings a week of content and I couldn't agree more. There's nothing like having a friend in town to help you to see your surroundings in a new light.
