My Favorite NARS Products | Best of the brand

Y'all knew I couldn't talk about my favorite makeup brands without talking about NARS! It's hands down my favorite makeup brand, mainly because the complexion options are amazing! Fenty got lots of credit for coming out with 40 foundation shades, and that's great.  But NARS was definitely a trail blazer for inclusive makeup years ago. So here we go with my favorite NARS products...First, I have to talk bases. Over the years, NARS has made some of my favorite bases ever. Their Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer (not pictured) is awesome. It was my go-to base for years, and the only reason that I haven't repurchased it recently is that I'm always trying new things. #makeupbloggerproblemsI'm currently enjoying a few other NARS complexion products - Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation, Velvet Matte Foundation Stick, Radiant Creamy Concealer and Soft Matte Concealer. At this point I've tried all of NARS' foundations and concealers and these ones (plus the tinted moisturizer) are my favorites. The Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation is exactly what it says: it's long wearing and has a gorgeous glow.I've reviewed the Velvet Matte Foundation Stick (in this post) and I love it for it's medium coverage and smooth finish. Here's a picture of mewearing NARS Velvet Matte Foundation Stick:The two concealers are definitely holy grail status at this point. They just look good.  They blend nicely but aren't too heavy.  If you're looking for a medium, buildable coverage concealer, definitely check one of these out.NARS also makes one of the best liquid lipstick formulas on the market. Even if you're totally tired of liquid lipsticks, you should try this one! NARS Powermatte lipsticks have an extremely thin, fluid texture, so they feel weightless on the lips. They don't dry or crack throughout the day, and there are some really interesting colors. If you're more into traditional lipsticks, then the Audacious line is probably more your style. These lipsticks are luxurious. They truly just glide onto the lips and are pigmented. The shade Linda is one of my favorites because it's a gorgeous pumpkin orange (it's totally wearable, I swear).I also really love the NARS Velvet Shadow Sticks (featured in this post) because they're vibrant, long-lasting and super easy to apply.Lastly, I have a couple of cheek products: the new highlighting powders and the NARS Wanted Cheek Palette II.The Wanted Cheek Palette II is pretty much all you need for cheeks. At $59 it's definitely not cheap, but it's a lower cost alternative to the Natasha Denona palettes I posted about earlier this week. Here are swatches:As you can see, there's a shimmery peach highlighter and another shimmery blush plus 4 matte blushes. The highlighting powders were released earlier this year and they're awesome. They feel creamy and give the skin a really pretty sheen. They don't come off as metallic at all and there are six different shades. I picked up Maldives because it's a gorgeous rose shade and I thought it would be something different from what I already have.[one_half padding="0 5px 0 5px"][/one_half][one_half_last padding="0 5px 0 5px"][/one_half_last]Basically this color gives a peachy/pinky/golden glow to my cheeks. It's one of those products that works great in a "no makeup" makeup look.I could go on and on about my favorite NARS products, but I'll stop here. If you haven't tried anything from NARS (who are you? lol), then I'd suggest the concealers or the tinted moisturizer. What are your NARS picks? Let me know in the comments. SaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSave
