Mette Narrative Inspired Yellow Eyeshadow Look
This year's VMAs provided some amazing makeup inspiration, and when I saw Mette Narrative wearing this yellow eyeshadow look, I was stunned. You guys know I love yellow eyeshadow, so I just couldn't resist trying this look. The makeup artist, Alana Wright, is one of my favorites due to her clean, editorial makeup looks. The yellow eyeshadow look Wright created for Mette Narrative is a great example. You have the bold eyeshadow, but when paired with bronzed, glowy skin it doesn't look over the top. It just looks hella cool.https://youtu.be/KxSzvnYM8LcHere are the details on the products that I used to get Mette Narrative's yellow eyeshadow look:
- Ardell Stroke A Brow (a very finicky product, but it's good for drawing in hair-like strokes)
- Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in Dark Brown
- Too Faced Hangover RX Replenishing Face Primer
- Flesh Beauty Firm Flesh Thickstick Foundation in Nutmeg (horrible product name, but the foundation stick isn't bad)
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation Contour in Mink
- ColourPop Powder Bronzer in Bits & Pieces
- Urban Decay Primer Potion in Caffeine
- Lime Crime Plushies Eyeshadow Palette in Fresh Squeezed
- ColourPop Make Up Your Mind Eyeshadow Palette
- Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Pencil in 210 Defining Black
- Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara
- Dior Nude Air Luminizer Powder in 04 Bronze Glow
- ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Highlighter in On the Cusp

I loved re-creating this makeup look, but I gotta know, did I nail it?
