Look To Try This Weekend: White Liner

After being smitten with white liner all summer (as mentioned here), I finally put together a white liner look, just in time for the weekend.  Here's what I used:

1. The essentials: NARS moisturizer and Clinique sunblock.

2. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Annapurna (mentioned here and here) and Chanel concealer in No. 42.  I really like the consistency of this concealer.  It is creamy but dries down nicely and doesn't slide around.

3. NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk along top lashline.  Since this is a large pencil, make sure it's freshly sharpened before using.  This is also a good eyeshadow base as it will intensify colors and help them to last longer.  NYX products are widely available and good quality, especially considering the low price.

4. Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eyeliner (applied with a damp angled brush) in Black in a very thin line right next to my lashes.  I did this because the white eyeliner alone can be really stark, so adding a super thin black line right along the lashes (nearly in the lashes themselves) helps make this look more wearable.

5. NARS Blush in Dolce Vita on the apples of cheeks.  Dolce Vita is a warm pink blush with a bit of a gold shimmer.  Very similar to Orgasm, but more pink.

6. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Floralies (a light apricot) and top with NARS Gloss in Années Folles (lavender).  This creates a cool nude lip, but either product is pretty on its own.

7. MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Magnetic Appeal, one of my favorite highlighters (mentioned here).
