Good Reads {Week In Review: Vol. 13}
This week was all about adjusting to my new job and figuring out how to stay consistent here on the blog. It was also all about complaining about the 90 degree weather and longing for fall.

Ever since I started blogging, I've gained a whole new appreciation for just how long it takes to create something, whether it be a video, article, or image, so I like to showcase awesome content whenever I can. Here's what I've been loving to read lately...
- I've sort of accepted that I am no longer a New Yorker, but reading this post on 10 Things I've Learned While Living in New York City made me so damn nostalgic! The images and words are lovely. {Grease and Glamour}
- Since I started thinking about minimalism (remember my series this past spring? Here's a refresher here), I've really been drawn to ways to multitask my wardrobe. So, this article about how to plan your fall wardrobe was right on time and just so informational. {Kinks Are The New Pink}
- I'm totally obsessed with black booties, so this roundup on the Perfect Fall Black Booties spoke to my soul. {Refinery 29}
- I've been in a decor rut lately and have really wanted to make my bedroom look more intentional. It looks half-done and there's a lot of stuff without a proper place. This post on 4 Tips for a Dreamy Bedroom got me all inspired to clear out some clutter and make my room pretty again. {Daily Dream Decor}
workin' girl
It's the end of my first full week at the new job, and all I can say is #TGIF. I've actually really enjoyed this new job so far, and it feels really great to be back in the world as a (somewhat) productive adult. When I first started working as an attorney, going "in-house" (that's working at a company's legal department instead of an outside law firm) was everyone's dream job. And while no job is perfect, I can definitely see the appeal. Even though there are people with all kinds of roles (many of which I don't understand since this company is in the technology / science industry), it really feels like we're all working on the same team.
