February Favorites
1. Beauty Sponge. Lately I've been using a damp sponge to apply my NARS All Day Luminous Foundation and it helps create a really smooth, natural finish.2. MAC Cosmetics lipstick in Lovelorn is a gorgeous warm pink that is perfect for spring. I've had this for a while and I'm so glad that I re-discovered it. I like that it is pretty opaque but still allows some of my natural lip color to come through, so it's quite wearable for everyday.3. Real Techniques Small Crease Brush. I got this as part of a set and at first I didn't think I'd use it much because it looked too large to blend the crease area. However, I started using it to apply concealer under my eyes, and it's great for that. The synthetic bristles mean it doesn't pick up much product so it's great for really blending in concealer.4. Make Up For Ever lipstick in N9. I actually got this as a 100-point perk at Sephora recently and this is my first time using this brand's lipstick, and I'm really impressed. N9 is described as a copper pink and it comes across as a gorgeous pinky-brown (perfect MLBB shade). The formula is very moisturizing and comfortable. I'll definitely consider purchasing other shades.5. MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NC42. I mentioned this last week (here), and this is definitely February's MVP. This concealer really helps to wake up my face and the formula is super long-lasting.6. Kate Somerville Dilo Oil. This is another product that I've mentioned previously (here) and I really love this oil. I've been wearing it under my Honey Moisturizer (also mentioned here) lately and have been so impressed by how quickly it absorbs into my skin. This is something that I could see myself wearing alone in the warmer months, but for now, I love layering it with my moisturizer. Shop the post below:
