Everyday Denim Look: My Fave Outfit + Makeup
I'm excited to share this everyday denim look that I rocked recently. I've mentioned before that I wanted to start featuring more outfit and style posts, so here we go! Let me know what you think.Also... I know that my posts haven't been as frequent lately, but the truth is that your girl is tired. I've been traveling and then getting sick from traveling, so I just haven't been able to put out as much content as I'd like. I LOVE blogging and I'm so proud of this little tiny corner of the Internet that I get to share with you guys, so I will be back to more regular posts and videos after Labor Day. Side note: Let's take a moment to sit with the fact that SEPTEMBER is almost here...wow.These Gap jeans are so comfortable and the navy embroidery makes this pair a nice break from the high-waisted skinny jeans that I'm always wearing.[row padding_top="" padding_bottom="" bg="" bg_light="true" appear="false"] [column size="1-2" appear="false"][/column] [column size="1-2" appear="false"][/column] [/row]For my makeup, I like to keep it super simple. The whole theme for this kind of everyday denim look is classic and easy.I'm wearing the new Estee Edit Skin Glowing Balm in Caramel and I LOVE how glowy and healthy it makes my skin look. It's pretty sheer, so if you like a medium or full coverage foundation, this probably won't work for you. However, I think the light coverage is perfect for lazy makeup days. It reminds me a lot of the Glossier Skin Tint that I used in my Glossier tutorial, except the color is warmer and there's more of a glow and warmth in this Skin Glowing Balm. Bottom line - I think it's an amazing product for getting that "I woke up like this" type of skin because it's just so pretty and natural. To add even more of a glow, I used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick* along my cheekbones and brow bones. I love this cute little glow stick and the dewy sheen that it gives. I really love how naturally glowy this looks and it's something that I reach for when I want to make my skin look more alive. On the lips, I'm wearing a super-matte terra-cotta shade called Claude from Lashes by Lena. I actually got this lippie when I went to BeautyCon LA and it's such a pretty everyday color. But, it is extremely matte (probably even more matte than the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips), so I like putting a gloss on top. And of course, I used a ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip in WeHo because I'm pretty much obsessed with all things CP.What do you guys think of my everyday denim look?I'd love to hear your thoughts, so let me know in the comments below!
