Cute, Creative & Easy Halloween Costumes {Week In Review: Vol. 14}

I cannot believe that Halloween is tomorrow!  If you're like me and don't have the time or desire to go out and spend a ton of money on an elaborate costume, then this post is for you.

I found a few really cute and clever (and cheap!) Halloween costumes that you can probably pull together with things you already have.  Or, if you have to buy items, you can probably re-mix them and actually incorporate them into your wardrobe.

I went on a super quick (less than 24 hours) trip to Houston for work, so my schedule is all thrown off and I am so ready for the weekend!  I will be dressing up for Halloween, so if you want to see what I end up wearing, you gotta catch me on Instagram.

{image source}I thought this was hilarious when I saw it on Instagram.  But I'm also somewhat obsessed with North West.  This is an easy and very clever Halloween costume.

I love this!  You probably have a picture frame lying around somewhere, or even if you don't you can buy one for cheap.  This requires no other props, so it's perfect for that last minute decision to partake in Halloween festivities.

This Halloween costume is perfect if you wouldn't be caught dead looking anything but super chic and fashionable.  I love how this is basically using things you (might) have in your closet.  This proves that a striped shirt truly is a wardrobe must-have!

50 shades of gray

So this may be a little less timely since the buzz surrounding the books and movies has died down, but people will still get the reference and appreciate the wittiness.  Another option for this Halloween costume would be to just wear an outfit incorporating as many shades of gray as possible.  People may give you a bit of a side eye, but only because they're jealous they didn't think of it first.

This is the ultimate in easy Halloween costumes, but people will appreciate the minimalist approach.  You could up the ante by attaching a fork and then you'll be all philosophical and sh*t.

All you need is a plaid shirt, jeans and some eyeliner to pull off this easy Halloween costume. People will appreciate the nostalgia and innocence behind this cute costume, plus you'll be comfortable and warm.
