ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Metallic Lip | Swatches on Dark Skin

What a week.  I'm so happy that it's Friday because I can really use a couple of days off.  When I heard about the latest terror attacks in Nice, I again felt saddened and shocked by the violence that seems to be more and more commonplace.  I'm sure many of you feel the same way.  But, while I hate this feeling of unease and anxiety that always accompanies news of terror attacks, I hope to never feel numb and to never turn a blind eye to what's going on in the world. So, in light of all this, I hope my first foray into the world of lip swatch videos (this one by ItsMyRayeRaye is my all time fav although this one by Sonjdra Deluxe is a very close second) brings a smile to your face because I had so much fun making it!It's all about the newest liquid lipstick formula by ColourPop Cosmetics - the Ultra Metallic Lip.  As you guys probably know by now, I'm loving metallic lipsticks for summer.  I've worn the Kylie Cosmetics versions a couple of times (the dark brown Reign in this post and the gold King K in this post) and featured swatches of Jouer's offerings in this video, so I had to show some love to ColourPop too.[row padding_top="" padding_bottom="" bg="" bg_light="true" appear="false"] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Wearing ColourPop's Kween Ultra Metallic Lip.[/column] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Wearing ColourPop's Man Eater Ultra Metallic Lip.[/column] [/row][row padding_top="" padding_bottom="" bg="" bg_light="true" appear="false"] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Wearing ColourPop's Zebra Ultra Metallic Lip.[/column] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Wearing ColourPop's 3-Way Ultra Metallic Lip.[/column] [/row]And just a note about the formula.  It's pretty comfortable to apply, but as you'll see in the video, it takes a little time and precision.  The Ultra Metallic Lip formula (like any other liquid lipstick honestly) is kind of high maintenance and you gotta be patient when you're putting it on.  I noticed that both Kween and 3-Way have very glittery finishes, which are a bit messy, while Man Eater and Zebra have a metallic formula.  Like the Ultra Satin Lips formula, the Ultra Metallic Lips formula is not transfer proof, so it will come off when eating and drinking.  But, the colors are very pigmented so you'll still get a couple of hours of wear before you need to touch up.  I really like all of the colors, but I think Kween and Man Eater are my favorites. In case you're curious about ColourPop's other lip offerings, I have my thoughts on the original Lippie Stix formula in this post.  I have some of the OG Ultra Matte Lip shades reviewed in this post, and then I feature the Ultra Satin Lips in this post on the spring collection as well as in this Spring Haul video.  Basically, I'm a ColourPop fanatic.  If you want to check out the new Ultra Metallic Lip formula, it's available on ColourPop's website for $6.  They may be sold out now but they restock every week or so.[cta btn_text="Subscribe To My YouTube Channel" btn_url="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtYKxLzGXw0Mvn5KlS9ViGQ" bg="" bg_light="true" appear="false"][/cta]And one more thing, the foundation that I wore in this video - L'oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation - is BOMB.  It is sooo good.  It's glowy but doesn't wear off and the coverage makes my skin look incredible.  I will have a review and comparison against another glowy foundation favorite - Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow - coming soon, but for now I'll just say it's amazing.  You can shop everything else that I wore in the widget below.
