6 Amazing Blogger Recommended Products!
This roundup of blogger recommended products is a long time coming, but I'm super excited to share the first (of many) post of this new series. When I'm looking for a new skincare product, or drugstore buy, or just a new good product, there are a handful of beauty gurus that I know will point me in the right direction. Basically, I bought these products because the blogs made me do it!
blogger recommended lipsticks
Maybelline Truffle Tease is a great nude lipstick that I learned about through Tamira Jarrel. Now, she and I are totally different shades, which goes to show you that you never know what may be amazing on you. The formula of these Color Sensational lipsticks is really nice. And, unlike some drugstore lip products, there is no strong floral scent to deal with. I really love this line of lipsticks and think it's one of the best drugstore makeup products around (check out this post for more drugstore recommendations). This berry lipstick by Rimmel is another really good lipstick. I first learned about this via Vivianna Does Makeup, and it's one of my favorite red lipsticks.
blogger recommended cleansers
Well both of these cleansers entered my stash due to The Beauty Look Book. Sabrina's blog is amazing - the pictures are gorgeous and the reviews are super detailed. The best part is that I think she and I have similar skin issues, so when she says she loves a skincare item, I definitely take note. This First Aid Beauty cleanser and Kate Somerville exfoliating cleanser are really good. I've been using the FAB cleanser every night for the past 2 weeks or so and it's definitely helped clear up my skin. It's one of the few cleansers that does a deep clean but isn't super drying, so I LOVE it right now.
blogger recommended makeup
These last two products were recommended by YouTubers, not bloggers, but they still count! This Charlotte Tilbury cream eyeshadow was something that I discovered through Jackie Aina's YouTube channel. She had been raving on and on about this eyeshadow, so when I was at the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Toronto, I finally had the chance to buy it. This eyeshadow is amazing and I'm so glad I bought it. You can see me wearing this gold cream eyeshadow in my Soft & Romantic Date Night tutorial. And finally, I had to mention Champagne Pop. This is one of the most dramatic (and most pretty) highlighters that I have and I only bought it because Jaclyn Hill created it. But, I love it! No regrets. You probably remember it from this tutorial on glowy skin.
