Updated skincare routine for normal/combination skin that's perfect for cooler weather | beautyluxelife

Now that fall is in full swing, I figured that it's time for me to share an updated skincare routine.  I've been focused on addressing acne and anti-aging, and these products have been working pretty well for me, which says a lot since I also have combination skin.

Updated skincare routine for normal/combination skin that's perfect for cooler weather | beautyluxelife

1. Eve Lom Morning Time Cleanser.  I first mentioned this last month (here), and I'm still very happy with this cleanser.  It cleans my skin and manages to leave it feeling soft and looking radiant.  Plus, the smell and texture feel so luxurious! I highly recommend this cleanser if you're looking for something to hit that sweet spot: it's gentle but still provides a deep cleanse.

2. Lush Tea Tree Water.  I decided to purchase this toner based on a rave review on The Celution, a fantastic beauty blog that I stalk regularly.  I like that it has all natural ingredients and is alcohol-free, so it's definitely not too harsh on the skin.  The tea tree, grapefruit and juniper berry oils help to balance oily skin and fight bacteria that can cause acne.  I've been using this daily and love how refreshing it feels on my face.

3. Ole Henriksen Total Truth Eye Creme SPF 15.  I bought this in a set at Sephora with the other Ole Henriksen products mentioned here.  I love this eye cream because it has Vitamin C to brighten and peptides to plump and firm the under-eye area.  But most importantly, there's SPF to help prevent sun damage to the delicate eye area.  This is the only eye cream with SPF that I've tried that soaks in completely and does not leave any white cast or ashiness.  I'm so glad that I got to try this out and will definitely keep this in my daytime skincare regimen.

4. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster. This lightweight serum is great for adding radiance to the skin.  It's lightly moisturizing and soaks right into my skin.  Since I've been using this serum and the moisturizer listed below, I've definitely noticed that my skin has been brighter and a bit more even-toned.

5. Ole Henriksen Truth Creme Advanced Hydration.  This lightweight yet very moisturizing cream is really great.  I've been using this day and night and it provides just the right amount of moisture to my skin.  As with the other two products in this line, Vitamin C is a major brightening ingredient.  This moisturizer also has peptides, which help to plump the skin.  I think this set is great for people looking to add some anti-aging products into their skincare routine without using anything too harsh or irritating.

6. Clinique Sun Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Face Cream.  I mentioned it in my September Favorites video (here) and it is a really great sunscreen.  It disappears totally on my skin and does not sting my eyes when I workout.  I highly recommend this sunscreen.

I'd love to hear about your skincare routine, so leave me a note in the comments!
