What to Get from MAC Cosmetics | Best of the Brand

I was browsing through the blog and saw that I did a best of MAC Cosmetics post way way back (check it out here if you're curious).  MAC has released a ton of new products since then, and my makeup preferences have changed too. As the last post in my Best of the Brand series, I'm throwing it back to one of my OG favorite brands.I think we can all agree that MAC makes some amazing lipsticks. While many people don't really think of MAC for natural, low-key makeup, I gotta say that they probably have the best selection of "nude" lipsticks for all skin tones.  Some of my favorite everyday nudes from MAC are SpiritWhirlAmong the Fireflies and Toast and Butter. Here are swatches of some of my go-to MAC lipsticks:I've collected my fair share of MAC Cosmetics eyeshadows, but I have to be totally honest and say that they're not my favorite. Some of the shimmers are great (like Expensive Pink) but nowadays I don't really go for their shadows anymore. I much prefer Natasha Denona and ColourPop.One product that MAC consistently gets right is highlighter, blush and bronzer. Their "Extra Dimension" formula is amazing. It's a finely milled, almost creamy, powder. Some shades have more sheen than others, but they all give your skin a beautiful glow. Here's a swatch of the Extra Dimension Skinfinish Blush in Fairly Precious - a pinky-peach champagne color. On fair skin, this is a super pretty blush and on darker skin tones, it's a great highlighter or blush topper.Another great MAC product, is Fix +, which was one of the original setting sprays. I almost always travel with it and it's great for refreshing the skin, or turning eyeshadow into eyeliner.Although I still use my MAC Cosmetics foundation shade (NC45) as a reference, I haven't worn MAC foundation in years. I've found such great matches by other brands, so I just haven't re-visited MAC foundations in so long. Let me know if I'm missing anything.
