Sephora Holiday Bonus Event | My Picks

Sephora is coming for our wallets again with this weekend's Holiday Bonus event. I've done posts before with Sephora sale recommendations (here, here and here), so this time, I want to mention newer products that I haven't mentioned before.I surprisingly don't have a ton of skincare recommendations, and I think it's because most of the skincare that I use is either from Glossier or CVTD Beauty.

Sephora Holiday Bonus | Base

  • Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment in Candlelight. I got this as a sample a couple of weeks ago and honestly wasn't expecting much. I was so impressed when I finally tested it out. If you're like me and don't have serious dark circles, this is great for everyday. It really brightens the under eyes and looks surprisingly natural. I've already added this to my cart.
  • Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. This is popular for a reason. It has a gorgeous, glowy finish that looks like skin. They've also recently expanded the shade collection, so if you weren't able to find a shade in the past, check back again. Previously I hadn't been able to find a match, but I'm now shade 8.75.
  • Becca Aqua Luminous Foundation and Concealer. I use the shade Warm Honey in both and love the glowy, natural finish. Becca makes some great products and it's one of the few brands that hardly ever disappoints.
  • Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew Drops. You know that I couldn't do a recommendations post without including a liquid highlighter. These Dew Drops have a similar finish to the Becca liquid highlighter. I like products like this because they dry down while still giving your skin a pretty shimmer.
  • Dior BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette. I mentioned this when I reviewed the Dior BACKSTAGE Foundation (which is also very nice btw). This highlighting palette gives that wet glow without any glitter. With the four different shades in the palette, you really can get the perfect glow.
  • Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Tan 21. This is newly discovered, but I find myself reaching for this almost every day. It covers and brightens my skin without looking powdery at all.

Sephora Holiday Bonus | Eyes

  • Fenty Beauty Match Stix By The Dozen. I reviewed the Match Stix back when Fenty first launched, and I love them. They truly are multi-use products, so when I saw this set with lots of existing colors that I didn't have plus some new, exclusive shades, I couldn't resist. If you like cream shadows and blushes, then you'll love this set. Here's a picture of me wearing Chili Mango on eyes, lips and cheeks:

  • Marc Jacobs Beauty See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow. I bought the shade Topaz Flash and it is stunning. It truly looks like a wet, gorgeous jewel on the eyes. It's such an easy way to add some glam to your look.
  • Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette. I was surprised at how beautiful this is. The colors are so blendable and pigmented, and this palette is perfect for soft, romantic vibes. It would work for everyday or for soft glam looks.
  • Stila Shimmer & Glow and Glitter & Glow liquid eyeshadows. If you like shimmery and/or glittery liquid eyeshadows, Stila makes the best ones. The colors are so beautiful and unique. They're easy to use, and they're long lasting. Couldn't recommend these more.
  • Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel. I use this most mornings to add thickness and color to my brows. It looks very natural and helps get that bushy brow look.
  • Pat McGrath palettes (any of them!!). I had to include Mother Pat on this list. Her eyeshadows are fantastic. Even though they're expensive, they're worth it due to the unique shades and colors and the quality of the shadows and packaging. I love this all-shimmer one for the holidays, but they're all stunning.

Sephora Holiday Bonus | Lips

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss. I really love these glosses because they're pigmented + super glossy.
  • Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. The perfect everyday gloss (last seen in this tutorial).
  • Urban Decay Lipsticks. These are pretty underrated IMO, but there's a huge shade range and they're very creamy, pigmented and comfortable to wear.

Sephora Holiday Bonus | Skincare

  • Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly. I bought this for my summer travels after trying a sample and still find myself reaching for it. I use it in the mornings before going to the gym because it's so light and soaks right into my skin. If you have oily skin, you'll love this.
  • Peter Thomas Roth Mask Set. I've mentioned these sets before and I think PTR makes some of the best masks. I love holiday sets like this because you get the chance to try different ones, or you could give them as gifts. Everyone loves masks, you know?
  • Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. It's a classic for a reason. Use it before or after makeup to add a beautiful glow to your skin.
