Kaike Cleansing Oil | Indie Beauty Review

As promised, here's a review of the Kaike Cleansing Oil that I'm stocking over at CVTD Beauty.  This is an all-natural, vegan and cruelty-free cleansing oil that's meant especially for normal and combination skin.  It's one of the thicker cleansing oils that I've tried, but that just means that it gets everything off.  I mean, waterproof mascara, heavy foundation, whatever.Kaike cleansing oil from CVTD BeautyHere are the ingredients:Certified Organic Grapseed Oil, Certified Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, Certified Organic Hemp Seed Oil, Certified Organic Castor Oil + Essential Oils.Grapeseed oil has lots of Vitamins C, D and E which help reduce wrinkles and scaring.  Apricot kernel oil is lightweight and rich in Vitamin A.  It's able to penetrate into the skin and add moisture without lots of greasiness.  Hemp seed oil is also a great emollient and moisturizer because it's high in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Lastly, castor oil is great for acne because it's able to penetrate the skin and kill bacteria.Since this is a thicker, more moisturizing cleansing oil, people with normal or combination skin will only need a light moisturizer after using.  I personally prefer to follow this with a toner or another cleanser (like the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser) because I like my skin to feel squeaky clean.  Also, this cleanser has a citrusy scent (similar to lemongrass).  It smells fresh, and doesn't linger after washing away, but I just wanted to highlight than in case anyone is sensitive to scents. It's really up to your personal preference on whether or not you like that moisturized feel after using an oil cleanser, or if you don't.Because it's so rich, a bottle of this cleanser will last you quite some time, so I feel like it's worth the $25.

You can grab a bottle of this Kaike Cleansing Oil at my shop CVTD Beauty.
