Building a Spring Wardrobe, The Minimalist Way Pt. 3

Here's my final roundup of my picks for a capsule spring wardrobe.  I'll post my spring 2015 capsule wardrobe in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime, here are my picks for tops and dresses.  Check out my shoe picks here and my picks for bottoms here.minimalisttopsspring2015

{1. Topshop Knitted Frill Hem Sweater ($68) // 2. J. Crew Short Sleeve Open Stitch Sweater ($ 60) // 3. Madewell Perfect Chambray Shirt ($72) // 4. Madewell Lace Side-Tie Crop Tee ($98) // 5. J. Crew Seamed Peplum Sweatshirt ($60) // 6. Topshop Striped Bodysuit ($35) //  7.  J. Crew Structured Flutter Tee ($55) // 8. J. Crew Quilted Indigo Bomber ($100)}

Some of these items are similar to what I already own, like #1, #3, #4 and #7, and others are wishlist items, especially #2 because it comes in several colors and is the perfect weight for this mild Bay Area climate.

{1. Banana Republic Ruched Jersey Dress ($58) // 2. Banana Republic Space Dye Ponte Dress ($75)}

I don't wear dresses very often, so this list is pretty short.  I have #1 in black and LOVE it.  The material is thick and the ruching is so flattering.  I'm thinking of getting this in gray also since it's now on sale.  I have a couple of other dresses that I may add to this list, but I anticipate that my spring wardrobe will mostly be pants and tops.

I've added lots of other cute options for tops and dresses in the widget below, so be sure to check them out.  I'll also be pinning my picks on my Spring 2015 Style and Beauty Wishlist board (here).
