Finally...A Natural Deodorant That Works!

If you're anything like me, then when you hear "natural deodorant," you probably picture something that's over-priced but ineffective and sold at Whole Foods.  Well, that's often the case, but not with this Native deodorant.  From the first time that I tried this natural deodorant, I was so impressed.  In fact, I received a sample to review, and I've since repurchased this natural deodorant because it's just that good.natural deodorantMost conventional deodorants have both aluminum and parabens, both of which are no good for your body.  Not only is aluminum responsible for turning all of your white shirts yellow, it's actually been linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer's disease.  And parabens are known to mimic estrogen and can disrupt your hormone balance.  So basically, traditional deodorants leave you with choosing between getting cancer and being funky as all hell.  OK, I may be overstating that a bit, but until trying Native, I hadn't really found a natural deodorant that even came close to being as effective as the traditional varieties.natural deodorantHere are the ingredients in Native deodorant that some how manage to keep me fresh all day:[highlighted_p boxed="false" center="false"]Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Beeswax, Baking Soda, Vitamin E, Vegetable Preservatives, Acidophilus (natural bacteria found in intestines), Coconut Oil, Cera Bellina Wax, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Castor Bean Oil, Stearyl Alcohol, Probiotics, Arrowroot Powder, (derived from tropical plants).[/highlighted_p]Now, I will admit that there's a bit of a transition period when switching from traditional to natural deodorant.  I'm not exactly sure of the cause, but when you stop wearing traditional deodorant, you actually smell worse before you smell better.  Native even advises that it may take up to 2 weeks to start getting the full benefit of this deodorant.  For me, I say it took a little less than a week, and once that period passed, I was smelling fresh and feeling dry.  I ordered the Lavender & Rose scent (it's very mild), but it also comes in Unscented and Eucalyptus & Mint.In spite of the brief waiting period before this natural deodorant reaches its full potential, I can't say enough good things about this.  It just really works, and you can feel good about wearing this daily because it's free of all the harmful ingredients in traditional deodorants.  Plus it's made in the USA.I signed up for auto-delivery every two months (each deodorant stick costs $10 with this plan), and I'm not going back to other deodorants. So, have I convinced you to give this a try?  You can check out Native deodorant here.* Full disclosure: I received a sample for review consideration, but the deodorant shown was purchased by me.  As always, all opinions are my own.
