Anthropologie Shopping Guide | Black Friday Haul

anthropologie-4.jpg

Before stepping into Anthropologie a couple of weeks ago, I probably hadn't made an Anthro purchase in years.  Don't get me wrong, they sell cute stuff.  But Anthropologie is one of those stores that has a very defined vibe.  It's super bohemian.  I feel like they don't allow you to cross the threshold if you're not wearing patchouli oil and sipping kombucha.  I like to think I'm more modern and my style is a bit more sleek (in my head anyways).  But, damn, the new Anthropologie lifestyle store in Walnut Creek is nice.Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comI wish I'd taken some pics, but truthfully I was overwhelmed.  They have a little nursery that sells all kinds of super cute succulents and terrariums.  They have a full-on furniture section. We all know they have clothes and shoes and stuff.  But the piece de resistance was their beauty section!! :-OAnthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comIt was like one of those magical shopping days that only happens every once in a while.  Everything was super cute, and everything was on sale.  I didn't know what to do with myself LOL.  My mom and I browsed all through the store and loved the home decor and the beauty section the most.  I love all the indie makeup, hair and skincare brands they carry. If you're like me and thought that Anthropologie was better left to your hippy boho friend, let me tell you that you just  might be missing out.  Here's a look at what I snatched up at Anthropologie.  I left a few things behind, but I'll be back.[row padding_top="" padding_bottom="" bg="" bg_light="true" appear="false"] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.com[/column] [column size="1-2" appear="false"]Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.com[/column] [/row]Anthropologie has so many cute candles and room diffusers.  I think these are in the category of no fail gifts.  They're great for housewarmings and work gift exchanges too.  I got a really pretty scented oil diffuser by Lollia.  The Lollia Poetic License Diffuser  in Another Quiet Day ($48) has notes of vanilla, sandalwood, heliotrope, coconut and musk.  It's just the right balance of sweet and spice (right up my alley if you remember my last fragrance post).  I'll be giving this as a gift this Christmas, but will def keep my eye out to see if it goes on sale again.Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comI also loved the lotion and hand soap sets from Barr & Co ($34).  One scent - Fir and Grapefruit - is the perfect holiday scent. You get that fresh green scent, but the grapefruit keeps it from Pine Sol territory.Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comI love the heavy glass bottles, and the lotion and soap are so nice.  I keep a set in my kitchen and feel all fancy whenever I use it.  Sometimes it's the little things.Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comProbably my favorite Anthropologie purchase was the body and hair oil by Posies & Co ($28).  I got the Fig Blossom scent and it has coconut, sunflower and jojoba oil plus green fig, pomegranate and cedar oil.  It's really moisturizing but surprisingly light.  It's not cheap but I only use a little bit at a time, so I know that it'll last a while.Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comY'all know I had to sneak in a makeup purchase.  I've been hearing so many good things about RMS Beauty, so I decided to pick up two shades of their eye polish ($28).  I got Imagine (shimmering magenta) and Myth (shimmering cool-toned taupe).Anthropologie Haul, or what to buy at Anthropologie? adiaadores.comThe colors are stunning and Imagine is unlike any other cream eyeshadow I've seen.  But I'm on the fence about these.  Because they're both so emollient and creamy, there is definitely some creasing.  Myth performed better, and I loved the brightening effect, but I'm still undecided on these.I also picked up some nice hand cream and a cute sweater.Bottom line: Anthropologie actually has lots of really cute things, so I def suggest you check it out if you're looking for a gift (or for something for yourself).  Also, this isn't a sponsored post!  I was just super excited about this little haul so I wanted to share it with you guys.  I have more recommendations from Anthropologie in the widget below.
