The skincare actually worth buying at the Sephora Beauty Insider sale*
I’d like to think of myself as a recovering skincare junkie. So, while I’ve bought many products over the years, I’ve recently decided to pare down my skincare routine to something more simplified. That being said, I still have shelves and shelves full of unopened products, and my evening skincare routine can easily venture into 5 - 7 products.
*I don’t want to encourage over-consumption, but if you’re planning to make some purchases, I’d like to share what I’ve purchased and would recommend from the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale.
Now, here’s is the skincare at Sephora that I’ve purchased, used, loved and would buy during the Beauty Insider Sale:
cleansers
The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser (acne-prone skin)
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Cleanser (dry skin)
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser (all skin types)
REN Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser (dry skin and/or for removing makeup)
The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm (lower priced option for a creamy oil cleanser)
serums
Tower28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray (great for irritated skin; I love this when traveling and/or wearing a mask)
Eadem Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum with Niacinamide and Vitamin C (so effective but gentle)
Innbeauty Project Slushy Serum Moisturizer Crush Infused with Bakuchiol (very moisturizing and has a retinol alternative that helps with dark spots)
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops (hydrating & brightening. Makes a great base underneath makeup.)
REN Skincare Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner (great for smoothing rough skin & clearing pores)
moisturizers
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base
Youth to the People Dream Eye Cream with Vitamin C and Ceramides (my current go to eye cream. It’s hydrating but not too heavy.)
The Inkey List Retinol Eye Cream (lightweight and anti-aging)
Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Face Cream (great for restoring a compromised skin barrier due to too many active products, or really dehydrated skin)
Laneige Hypoallergenic Cica Sleeping Mask (so soothing and hydrating. I love this when traveling)
REN Skincare Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm (very soothing and extra rich)
Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Oil-Free Gel Cream Moisturizer (I’ve repurchased multiple times, love how light it feels while still being very moisturizing and soothing)
masks
Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Night Cream with Vitamin C
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask (extremely hydrating)
sunscreens
Supergoop! Glowscreen (both the original and golden bronze shades are gorgeous)
for the body, nails & hair
Ole Henriksen BeamCream Smoothing Body Moisturizer with AHAs
Gucci Glossy Nail Polish in Annabel Rose (one of my favorite, most worn nail polishes)
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector (it’s a cult classic for a reason, great for repairing damaged hair)
K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask (dare I say it’s better than Olaplex? And a lot more expensive too, so I suggest trying a mini size first)
Melanin Haircare Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner (my favorite leave-in that I also like to use throughout the week as a styling / moisturizing cream)
Melanin Haircare Multi-Use Pure Oil Blend (a must when I travel because it works well on hair and body)
I think that’s about it, but I’ll be back with 1 or 2 more posts covering my recommendations for makeup as well as my wishlist for the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale. If you have any questions, leave a comment or click the button below to message me on Insta.
