What To Pack In Your Carry-on - Makeup
On Wednesday I featured the skincare that I packed in my carryon, so I felt it was only right to follow up with the makeup that I'm bringing with me on my trip.Tools:
{Fan brush (for highlighter) // MAC 129 brush (travel size) (for blush/powder) // Real Techniques stippling brush (for cream blush) // Real Techniques powder brush // Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz // MAC 217 brush (for eyeshadow) // MAC 224 brush (for eyeshadow)}
{Makeup sponge // Mirror compact // Tweezerman tweezers}
Lips:
{Julep lipgloss in Dazzling (sheer nude with sparkles) // Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 10 (matte, bright orange) // Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Striking (cherry red) // Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Enticing (glossy pink/red) // L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Blushing (glossy mauve/plum...super pretty) // L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Gleam (opaque gold/nude...also super pretty) // MAC lipstick in Siss (cool nude)}
*At the last minute, I shoved MAC Twig (creamy rose, nude) into my pocket because I need options! Also not pictured: MAC lipliner in Stripdown (nude).
Eyes:
{MAC custom eyeshadow quad and duo // MAC eye kohl in Powersurge (cool gold/gray) // MAC eye kohl in Minted (turquoise) // Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (black)}
{MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark // Colourpop Cosmetics Highlighters in Monster (cool pink/lavender) and Most Necessary (peachy/pink/gold)} // L.A. Girl Cosmetics Concealer in GC978 Medium Beige // L'oreal Infallible Foundation in 109 (matte and long lasting) // Burberry Lip & Cheek Bloom in Purple Tulip (vibrant fuchsia that dries to a matte finish)}
Miscellaneous:
{L'oreal Miss Manga Waterproof Mascare (current favorite!) // Jo Malone fragrance samples in Red Roses and English Freesia // Forever 21 pencil sharpener // Nivea Creme lotion // Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss}
Not pictured: Urban Decay eyeshadow primer in Eden.
Since I'll be traveling in hot and humid climates, I focused on lip products because those are going to last the longest and be the easiest to wear. For face, I brought cream highlighters and blush because I think that creams are better than powders in humid weather. I realize there is a very good chance that I will not wear even half of this. I also realize that I'd rather bring these products with me and not wear them than not pack them and wish I had!
