November Favorites

November favsDecember already?  Last month was a total blur.  Between going on a cruise, moving into my new condo and turning 30 (still can't get over that one), I didn't have much time to paint my face the way I like.  But don't fret, I still managed to try some new products, so here's what I loved last month.1. bliss pore perfecting facial polish.  I mentioned this scrub in this post, and am really glad that I added this to my routine.  It's a great Sunday night ritual to use this scrub and follow it with the mask mentioned below.  I find that my skin has been less congested, which has really helped on my no make-up days (which have been quite frequent this month).2. bliss triple oxygen energizing mask.  Again, I mentioned this scrub here and love the tingling effect of the mask and how smooth my skin feels after using.3. Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Brow Wiz' Mechanical Brow Pencil in Dark Brown. I love this brow pencil, and will definitely repurchase. The color lasts all day and the spoolie at the opposite end of the pencil is super convenient. Also, this comes a range of colors, so you'll be sure to find a match.4. Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 107.  I love this lipstick.  It is fully opaque in one swipe, and it accomplishes the rare feat of staying on all day without making your lips look and feel like sandpaper.  The color is rich and matte, and you can find this at your local drugstore for under $10.  Need I say more?  Here's a swatch:Rimmel swatch5. MAC Prep + Prime Lash. One of my good friends recommended this product and I think it does a good job of conditioning the lashes and helping to add volume. I've been using this daily for the last month or so, and like that it amplifies whatever mascara I'm wearing.6. Buxom Full & Fabulous Mascara.  I got this mascara with  my points at Sephora and I'm really happy with it.  I think this is a great every day mascara because it slightly thickens and defines the lashes, so it's not too dramatic or over-the-top.  I also like that it's a really dark black and doesn't flake or smudge (but is still easy to remove at night).  Overall, I'm happy with this mascara and have been using it daily, but for nighttime, I'd prefer something more volumizing. There you have it, last month in makeup.  What were your November favorites?
