Nighttime Essentials
I am pretty obsessive when it comes to my skincare routine. I pretty much never go to bed without washing my face with my Clarisonic, but that's not the only thing that keeps my skin glowing. Here are my nighttime essentials:Murad Essential-C Cleanser. Since I use the Clarisonic, I like to use a pretty gentle cleanser. This one cleans my face but isn't too drying. I've only been using it for a week or so, but so far so good.Embryolisse Lait Crème-Concentré. This French moisturizer is really great. I use a prescription retinoid cream at night, so I need something very hydrating and without any other treatment properties. This absorbs nicely into my skin and leaves it soft come morning. Many makeup artists use this in their kits to prep skin before makeup application because it's really moisturizing, won't irritate the skin and won't leave skin too shiny.Clinique Rinse Off Eye Makeup Solvent. These makeup removes always come with the Clinique gift with purchase promotions. It works, but once it runs out, I'll probably switch to an oil cleanser.Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex. I really like this eye cream. It absorbs nicely into my eyes and it doesn't sting. It's also nicely hydrating.Phyto Secret de Nuit Hydrating Regenerating Night Treatment. This is not a skin product, but I try to apply this to my hair every other night and it does a good job of hydrating my hair without making it greasy.Clarisonic Mia. I love this; I use it twice a day and really think this has made a huge difference in my skin. There's also a kit currently on sale at Nordstrom.
