Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick | Creamy. Pigmented. Intense.

I have a confession: I'm pretty new to Make Up For Ever. I've always heard good things about the brand but for whatever reason I just never bought anything. So when I received a Vox Box from Influenster with three shades of the Make Up Forever Artist Rouge lipstick, I was so happy to finally try something.MUFE Artist Rouge Lipstick. The three shades of the Artist Rouge lipstick that I received for review are C211 - Rose Wood (a neutral medium pink that's totally a "my lips but better" shade), C502 - Taupe Violet (a cool-toned pale lavender) and C404 - Passion Red (a neutral, bright cherry red).First off, I was blown away by the pigmentation of these lipsticks.  The color payoff is seriously insane.  I get full pigmentation with just one swipe.  The pigmentation reminds me of the NARS Audacious lipsticks because the color is just so rich and vibrant.Another thing that I love about these lipsticks is that they are so comfortable.  The texture is just thin enough for them to glide right onto the lips.  There's no tugging, pulling or dragging on the lips.  They straight up apply like a dream.  As far as formula goes, I'd have to say this is one of the best formulas that I've ever tried.  The Artist Rouge lipstick line is like butter in a tube...but in the best way possible.Of course I'm not gonna rave about these lipstick without showing you how they look, so here we go...Shade C211 of MUFE Artist Rouge lipstick is my perfect "MLBB" shade.I absolutely love this color.  It's a perfect every day pink lipstick, and the satin finish keeps it from looking too nude or flat.  I definitely see myself reaching for this over and over again.LOVING Make Up For Ever's Artist Rouge lipstick in C211.Next I have one of the prettiest red lipsticks - Artist Rouge lipstick in C404.Wearing MUFE Artist Rouge lipstick in C404.Wearing MUFE Artist Rouge lipstick in C404.Last I have C502, which is the one shade that I probably wouldn't wear.  This color was just too pale and too cool for me to wear on its own.  I think I could probably doctor it up with a pink liner or gloss, but in the interest of fair beauty blogging, I decided to wear it alone.  I take this stuff seriously, y'all.Wearing MUFE Artist Rouge lipstick in C502.Here are the details for the rest of my makeup:Make Up For Ever Water Blend Foundation in Y445MAC Cosmetics Cream Colour in Pink Pavilion (mentioned in this post)ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Cheek in Butterfly Beach (one of my favorite highlighters ever - I use it in this after-gym makeup tutorial)Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow in Beige DoreAnastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark BrownMaybelline Volum Express The Colossal Spider Lash Mascara (new obsession)I def feel like this Artist Rouge lipstick is making me appreciate traditional lipsticks again.  After being into liquid lipsticks and then glosses for so long, it was nice to wear lipstick.  Have any of you tried the Artist Rouge lipstick formula? I'd love to hear your thoughts!*I received these three lipsticks for free for review consideration.  Thanks Influenster for the free lipsticks, but, as always, all opinions are my own!
