Jewelry Subscription?? My Thoughts on Rocksbox

In case you haven't heard of it, Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service that sends you 3 pieces of jewelry to wear each month.  When you sign up online, you fill out a questionnaire explaining your style and what you want the jewelry for - everyday, special occasion, etc.  Then the jewelry comes to you in a super cute package!  You also get a return envelope, so once you're done it's super easy to return everything.

I was offered a chance to try out the service and after filling out a couple of questions, I received the following pieces:

I pretty much only wear studs (I've been known to wear the same pair for weeks), so I was glad that I received something classic, but with a little color.  These Trina Turk Hexagon Stone Studs were really cute and definitely something I could wear everyday.

Now, you can't really tell in this picture, but this bracelet is rose gold, which I love! It's by Gorjana and its the Shimmer Bar Bracelet. It's very dainty and delicate and has a little shimmer.  I love that there's some sparkle but it's simple enough to wear everyday.

My favorite piece is probably this Gorjana Mave Lariat Necklace.  Again, it's sleek and simple but it kind of has an edgy feel, which I really like.  It looks really good with any simple top.

how much does rocksbox cost?

Rocksbox is $19 a month, plus you get a discount (at least $10 off) if you decide to purchase any of the items in your box.  You also access to their jewelry shop online, and have insider prices on tons of other items.

At first, I wasn't sure if I'd like this service because I'm super minimalist when it comes to jewelry, plus my skin is really sensitive to different metals.  Luckily, my skin wasn't irritated at all.  I also liked the chance to try trendy jewelry that was better quality than what I'd typically see at the mall.

If you love jewelry, or if you're like me and simply looking to figure out how to add a few pieces to your collection, definitely check out Rocksbox.
