My Favorite Foundation Combinations | Mixing Foundations

I haven't bought foundation in a while (maybe because I've been too busy buying highlighter smh).  But that doesn't mean that I'm totally happy with what I have.  Not in the least.  I feel like I'm in between my summer and winter shades and nothing is working quite right.  So I've been playing around and have two foundation combinations that I've been loving lately.Been loving mixing foundations lately. adiaadores.comIf you've watched my last couple of makeup tutorials, you've probably noticed that one of my favorite foundation combinations lately is Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation in Warm Honey mixed with Make Up For Ever Water Blend Foundation in Y445.This combination works for a couple of reasons.  First, the color is just right.  The Becca foundation in Warm Honey is just a tad too warm for me right now.  It's definitely a better match after I've been in the sun for a while.  And the MUFE foundation in Y445 is a little too pink/cool for me.  So mixing them gives me the perfect shade, as you can see below:Love this pop of color, yellow eyeshadow look. adiaadoresYou can get all the details from this yellow eyeshadow tutorial in this post. Also, the finish of these 2 foundations together is pretty perfect.  The MUFE foundation is sheer and thin while the Becca foundation is def more of a medium coverage foundation.  With this mix, I get the best color match and a lighter, more natural finish. One of my favorite foundation combinations - Becca Aqua Luminous with MUFE Water Blend. adiaadores.comOne of my favorite foundation combinations - Becca Aqua Luminous with MUFE Water Blend. adiaadores.comHere are some swatches of these 2 foundations:The other foundation combination is a newer discovery.  I mix IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream in Rich with a few drops of Glossier Skin Tint in Deep.Love mixing Glossier Skin Tint and IT Cosmetics CC Cream. adiaadores.comAgain, I do this for color and finish.  The It Cosmetics CC Cream is pretty cool and the Glossier Skin Tint is a great match for my skin.  Also the It Cosmetics CC Cream is full coverage while the Glossier Skin Tint is very light and watery.  This helps thin out the CC cream and I get such a natural satin finish.  Plus this combination is super long lasting.  I think it's going to be my go-to for work.I actually wore this combination in my Ordinary Skincare Review:Here are some swatches:My favorite foundation combinations when I want to mix foundations. adiaadores.comI've really been liking these foundation combinations.  It's nice to put a new twist on something you already have.  Plus, my inner chemist gets a chance to play and I save some money too.  Win win.

I'd love to hear if you have any other foundation combinations that you've been trying lately.
