Cold Weather Skincare Essentials

I almost called this a "winter" skincare post, but then I had to change it to cold weather skincare essentials. We all know that winter in California isn't necessarily cold.  But this week I've been in New York, so I had to bring out some skincare heavy hitters to make it through the cold weather.  Here are the cold weather skincare essentials that I packed for my trip. For cleansers, I brought an oil cleanser and a gentle / non-foaming cleanser.  I would have loved to bring my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser but it doesn't come in a travel size (sigh) and I just didn't feel like trying to decant it into a smaller container.[one_half padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_half][one_half_last padding="0 10px 0 10px"]The boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil removes all my makeup and rinses off without any residue.  I like to follow with the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser because it's gentle and won't dry out my skin in this cold weather.[/one_half_last]I also packed Glossier Solution. I've been using it for maybe three weeks or so, and I really like it. As I mentioned in my Five Minute Skincare Routine, I like to use a chemical exfoliator in the morning. I had been using the Pixi Glow Tonic, but I've used the Solution lately and am really happy with the results so far. It's supposed to help treat acne and improve the skin's texture.[one_half padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_half][one_half_last padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_half_last]For treatments, I packed my go to Glosser Supers Serums - Super Pure and Super Bounce (you can shop with my link and get 20% off your first purchase. You can also shop that link just to support me.)[one_half padding="0 10px 0 10px"]Super Pure just works for breakouts. It's not drying or harsh or irritating at all. Super Bounce will always be a staple for adding moisture without any heaviness or greasiness.[/one_half][one_half_last padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_half_last]I also brought a new product by From Molly With Love - the Sea Kelp Bioferment Essence. I've been thinking about carrying this brand in my store CVTD Beauty, so I was super excited when the brand sent me a few products to test out. This essence is soothing and moisturizing and I've enjoyed adding it to my skincare routine.[one_third padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_third][one_third padding="0 10px 0 10px"]I got this Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream for free from Influenster and have been testing it out for about a month. It's hydrating but not too heavy, and it doesn't interfere with my makeup at all. If you're looking for an eye cream, I suggest you check this one out. And of course, I brought my Glossier Priming Moisturizer. You guys already know it's a forever favorite.[/one_third][one_third_last padding="0 10px 0 10px"][/one_third_last]Another new addition to my skincare routine is this Beauty Oil by From Molly With Love. It has sunflower oi, almond oil, jojoba oil, rosehip seed oil plus various essential oils. It's hydrating and smells amazing. I've really enjoyed patting this on my face. It makes my skin glowy but it soaks into the skin. I especially love mixing this with foundation to add hydration. My other skincare essentials for cold weather are my Farmacy Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm (so so good when my skin is dry and/or irritated), Glossier You solid and Glossier Invisible Shield.Let me know what your cold weather skincare essentials are, or if there's anything I should check out.
