Building A Spring Wardrobe, The Minimalist Way Pt. 2
In my last post in this series, I featured some awesome shoes that would be great for building a spring capsule collection. Now it's time to move onto bottoms. I wear pants pretty much every single day, and sometimes I feel like I cross the line between having classic wardrobe staples and wearing the same 2 or 3 pairs of pants non-stop. That's not always a bad thing, but it is so hard to strike that balance between style and versatility. Hopefully these pants will hit the right note.
{1. Paige Denim High Rise Flares ($239) // 2. and 7. Gap High Rise Skinny Jeans ($70) // 3. Banana Republic Ruched Pencil Skirt ($70 plus 40% off with code BRGOOD) // 4. and 5. Banana Republic Sloan Fit Pants ($89.50) // 6. J. Crew Pull On Pants ($79.50)}
Full disclosure - I wear #2 and #7 on a weekly basis. Every single week. I have always loved Gap, but these high rise skinny jeans are amazing. They feel thick and substantial, yet they stretch beautifully. The best part is that they do not stretch out. These are not another pair of skinny jeans that looks great in the morning and tired in the evening. The black distressed pair has just the right amount of holes and rips and the light blue pair is just faded enough. I can't say enough good things about these jeans. Go buy a pair.
Number 5 is another pair of pants that I wear weekly, so this had to go into my capsule collection. These pants are flattering and just so easy. This is why I added a white pair to my wish list.
I almost never wear skirts, but I think a midi-length pencil skirt {#3} would be great for work and weekends. The stretch and ruching make this skirt very versatile and figure-flattering.Lastly, I added some fun pants options. I've been seeing flares all over and this pair by Paige Denim looks so perfect. I love the high waist and the rich blue shade. The J. Crew pants are also cute and look super comfortable. I loved the wool sweats that I bought a few months back (mentioned here), and this pair looks similar, just in a lighter weight for spring.Anything catch your eye?Shop the post below:[xyz-ihs snippet="spring-2015-bottoms"]Like what you see?Like beautyluxelife on Facebook here.Follow along on Bloglovin' here.
