Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm Review

I mentioned the Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm a few weeks ago in my Target haul.  Now that I've had the chance to try it out, I wanted to report back and tell you guys my thoughts.I bought this cleanser because I was hoping it would be a (much) cheaper version of the Eve Lom cleanser. The Eve Lom cleanser is a cult classic cleansing balm that has 4 oils and costs $80. Yes, it's an $80 cleanser.  It's herbal, soothing and very effective.  But considering the price, after I used up a little sample that I'd gotten, I decided not to purchase the full size. So, when I was browsing in Target last month, I got super excited when I saw the Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm.  It looked super similar and it's like 10% of the price of the Eve Lom cleanser, so I threw it in my cart.  But we all know even if something is a good price, it's not really a good value if it doesn't work.Boots Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm. adiaadores.comFirst, it works really well.  I felt hella fancy when I used this cleansing balm because there's this whole ritual to it.  You apply it to your dry face, then you take the (included!) muslin cloth and soak it in hot water.  Then you lay the cloth on your face and just let the steam and cleansing balm get to work melting off your makeup.  After a few seconds, I like to use the cloth to wipe off my makeup.  After that, you rinse the cloth with cool water and use that to get the last bits of makeup off your face.  The cool cloth also closes your pores and leaves you feeling all refreshed.I'm committed to double cleansing, so I usually follow this with either my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser, Kate Somerville EradiKate Cleanser or Bioderma Micellar Cleanser depending on what my skin needs (I like options).  That being said, if I'm not wearing any makeup, I feel totally fine using just the Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm.  It does a good job of cleaning my skin, but since it's a balm, my face doesn't feel all dry and tight. Here are the ingredients:Boots Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm. adiaadores.comIf you like cleansing oils or cleansing balms (or if you're curious), I'd def recommend you check this one out.  There are lots of different oils inside of it, so it's not drying.  If you have sensitive skin, take a close look at the ingredients because the citrus oil can be irritating to some people. It's available for about $10 at Walgreens or Target.
