April Favorites

I got so many new products in April that I didn't really use that many consistently enough to be deemed "favorites," so this month's list is pretty short.  That being said, everything listed here really is awesome and the products range from drugstore to department store.aprilfavorites1.  Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream for Extra Dry Skin ($15).  I mentioned this in my March Favorites roundup (here), and I'm still really enjoying this moisturizer.  I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin and leaves my skin soft and matte.2. Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Violet ($24).  This is another product that I've mentioned before (here), and this has proved to be a great purchase.  I get so many compliments whenever I wear this, plus it's super comfortable and long-lasting.  Also, the color is a really unique fuchsia color, so it's definitely worth checking out.3. Christian Dior Diorshow Black Out Mascara ($27.50).  When I first bought this mascara, I honestly wasn't too impressed.  The formula seemed too wet and heavy and it made my lashes stick together, so I didn't wear it much at first.  When I went back to wear it a couple of weeks ago, the formula had dried a little, making it so much better!  I've read other bloggers say that sometimes when the mascara dries out, the formula improves, but didn't really believe it until using this product.  Now, I rely on this mascara for super black dramatic lashes.  If you're a fan of Dior mascaras, you'd love this.4. Christian Dior Diorshow Maximizer ($28.50).  I tried a MAC last primer a few months ago and wasn't impressed enough to think it was worth the extra money and time.  When I was at Sephora during the Beauty Insider sale, the mini version of this mascara was a 100 point gift, so I thought "Why not?"  Now this is a lash primer that's worth using!  The teeth are really close together, so it does a good job of separating your lashes before applying mascara.  It definitely adds volume and just helps prevent clumping, so I've been wearing this daily and am very impressed.  So much so that I will likely buy the full size when I run out.5. Bobbi Brown SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free in Dark Tint ($44).  This is an oldie but goodie for a reason (also mentioned here).  I love the finish of this tinted moisturizer and it strikes just the right balance between matte and glowy.  It has a light to medium finish and it lasts all day.  The added SPF is a nice bonus, but we all know that any SPF in makeup is not enough and we should really use a separate sunscreen.aprilfavoritesswatchesdiorshowmascaraWhat were your favorites for April?  I'd love to hear!Shop the post below:[xyz-ihs snippet="april-favorites"]Like what you see?Like beautyluxelife on Facebook here.Follow along on Bloglovin' here
