The Ultimate Day-to-Night Product

Ideally, I'd head to work with flawless makeup that would transition seamlessly to after-work drinks or dinner.  In reality, I'm lucky if I leave the house with my brows done.  I know that a bold lip color can perk up a daytime look, but I'm always on the lookout for a way to play up my eyes without having to use an arsenal of brushes and products.  Luckily, I tried Marc Jacobs Beauty Twinkle Pop Eye Stick in Au Revoir.  I mentioned this in my August Favorites post, but it really deserved a post of its own because it's just too good.This lovely cream to powder eyeshadow stick comes in a gleaming silver tube.  The lid of the tube matches the shade of the product inside, and the packaging has a heavy, luxurious feel.  I'm a sucker for good packaging, and it's nice when you purchase a product that looks expensive and special.  This definitely fits the bill.  Au Revoir is a metallic pewter shade that is just gorgeous.  The product applies so smoothly and once it sets, it lasts.Here are some swatches in the shade and sunlight:Bottom line: this is an awesome product that makes applying eyeshadow so easy.  Plus, you can use this as a base for powder eyeshadows.  It's available at Sephora for $28, but use ebates and get 4% cash back!  I recently discovered ebates and am sooo upset that I just started using it.  Don't be like me; sign up and get some money back for all the online shopping that you'd do anyways.
