Who’s going out for New Year’s Eve? I’m actually not, but if I were, I’d probably do my makeup like this. I’m usually more into low-key makeup, but it’s nice to have an excuse to be a little extra. This holiday makeup tutorial is definitely not my everyday makeup, but the look is still pretty easy.
This lipstick is the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored. It’s been all over social media (for good reason). It’s touted as a universal red, and I gotta say that it actually looks good on everyone. But I have to point out that it’s not transfer-proof. However, it feels comfortable on the lips (not drying at all) and it wears nicely throughout the day. When it does start to fade, it fades evenly and doesn’t flake off like some liquid lipsticks can.
For my base, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation in Amber (reviewed in this post). It’s a really good match for my skintone right now and it lasts all day. I also did a little color correcting with the MAC Studio Conceal and Correct Duo.
I hope you enjoy this holiday makeup tutorial, and let me know what you’re up to for New Year’s Eve!
P.S. I have the video showing up top, but in case you’re having trouble, here’s a link to the video.
